Panel 2
Approaching Mental Health
Moderated by Michael Trembley, President and CEO, Invest Ottawa and Bayview Yards
From time to time we will notice signs that people we work with are struggling with mental health concerns – including those who mentor, lead and inspire us. Even when the signs are obvious and problematic for the workplace, many people are still hesitant to approach others to offer support. This hesitancy can be based in fears about the conversation being awkward, inappropriate, or not helpful. This panel will discuss helpful and unhelpful ways to approach the people we work with about their mental health.
